Minion Cupcakes

These are nothing new, nothing I claim to have created my self but I loved the idea of them and was asked to do 30 for a birthday party.

So here we have it, 30 minion cupcakes!

Angry Birds Cake

I enjoyed this cake, mainly because of the time I had free to do the details on the figures and the fact that there are so many of them.

I always try to get things as close as I can to how they should really be and in this case I was very pleased with the results!

Dr Who, New Tardis Cake

So I was asked if I could make any figures for a Dr Who cake. They just had to look remotely like the characters, which is good really as I don't think I could do exact likenesses in my time frame!

You tell me if you can work out which one is which?

60's Bat Girl Cake

I like retro stuff, I like it when someone asks me to do something  like, I especially like it when a 6 year old is asked, 'what cake do you want for your birthday?' and the answer is' A 60's Bat Girl Cake!' I love people asking for things I have always fancied dong but never got round too.

This was one of those cakes!

Minnie Mouse Cake and Cupcakes

Its harder than you think to try and get something to look like it should. I know honestly that I did not nail this cake. Its very hard too, but it was a decent and fair attempt I feel, I think its the cheek an eyes that let it down.

Think the little 5 year old girl it was for was happy though. Let me know where you think I went wrong?

Topless Pinup Cake, 18+

Its all icing I promise! Its the first time I have ever done a topless pinup, I was happy with the outcome as was the client. Well if she isn't embarrassed placing the order then why should I be making it!

Halloween Cake Pops

So for the last year I have ventured into the world of Cake Pops. For those of you who do not know what they are...

A cake pop is a normal cake, crumbled, and then mixed with icing sugar and cream cheese or a butter cream or frosting. It creates a cookie dough like consistency that you can then shape, pop n the fridge to cool and then pop a lolly pop stick in it and dip in chocolate.

This year I tried making different shapes for Halloween and these are the results...

We have Cats, Bats, Witches Hats, Mummies, Day of the dead Skulls, Zombies, Frankenstein, Spiders, Cauldrons, Ghosts, Pumpkins and Eyes!
